The Six Vanilla Cupcakes covered the half-dozen tier. Corporate buyers and event planners kept asking for the bigger format. So we landed on the dozen as the top of the cupcake ladder. Twelve cupcakes, twelve branded boxes, baked the same morning, finished the same way, presented as a unified set. The per-cupcake price drops slightly versus the smaller packs, because at this volume the bakery runs more efficiently and we want the corporate buyer to feel the bulk benefit. You are paying for twelve hand-finished cupcakes, twelve real roses and twelve branded boxes, and the per-unit cost works in your favour.

The single cupcake is a love note. The dozen is a room full of people remembered.

Delivery: Cape Town Same-Day Only

The Twelve Vanilla Cupcakes are freshly baked and perishable, so they deliver in Cape Town only, same-day on orders placed before 12pm Monday to Saturday. We deliver across Claremont, Sea Point, Camps Bay, Constantia, Newlands, Rondebosch, Green Point, the City Bowl, the Southern Suburbs, the Atlantic Seaboard and the wider Cape Town network. As fresh bakery items they do NOT ship by nationwide courier and are NOT available for Johannesburg same-day delivery, even though our flowers are. For an event in another province, the cupcake add-on is unfortunately not available on those orders, but our nationwide gift hampers, chocolates and biltong gifts ship across South Africa.

How To Serve a Dozen

For best taste, serve the cupcakes the day they arrive. The real rose on top is decorative only and should be removed before eating. The edible glitter is food-safe and tastes of nothing. If your event runs over more than one day, refrigerate the unopened boxes and bring each one back to room temperature about thirty minutes before serving so the buttercream softens. Each cupcake stays freshest sealed in its own box, which is the reason we pack a dozen as twelve individual boxes rather than one large tray. Set them out as a dessert centrepiece, place one at each guest seat, hand them out at the office, or build a small tiered display for a shower or rehearsal dinner.

Can I order the Twelve Vanilla Cupcakes on their own?

No. The Twelve Vanilla Cupcakes are an add-on only. They must be added to a flower bouquet, gift hamper, vase arrangement or other gift order in your cart. We do not deliver cupcakes as standalone items. If you want a cupcake-led gift, the Cupcake Bloom Box is our standalone cupcakes-with-flowers product.

Are the twelve cupcakes in one big box or twelve separate boxes?

Twelve separate boxes. Each cupcake is packed in its own Fabulous Flowers branded box with our gold crown emblem. This is the format our customers asked for, because it lets the host place one at each seat, hand them out at the office, or build a tiered display for a shower or wedding without unpacking from a large tray.

Can I mix vanilla and chocolate flavours in the dozen?

Our standard Twelve Vanilla Cupcakes is twelve classic vanilla. For a mixed flavour dozen, email hello@fabulousflowers.co.za with your event date and we will let you know what our bakery can do for that morning. Mixed flavour dozens depend on bakery capacity, so book a day or two ahead.

Where do you deliver the cupcakes?

Cape Town only, same-day on orders placed before 12pm Monday to Saturday. As freshly baked perishable items, the cupcakes do NOT ship by nationwide courier and are NOT available for Johannesburg same-day delivery, even though our flowers and gift hampers are.

What is the delivery cut-off?

12pm Monday to Saturday for same-day Cape Town delivery. For a guaranteed event date (weddings, showers, milestone parties, large corporate sends), we recommend booking at least one to two days ahead so the bakery can plan capacity. Future dates can be selected at checkout on the main gift you are pairing the cupcakes with.

Are the roses on top safe to eat?

The roses are decorative only. Each one is a fresh rose from our florist team, placed on the buttercream for the photogenic finish. Remove the rose before eating the cupcake. The edible glitter is food-safe and can be eaten.

What allergies should I be aware of?

The cupcakes contain wheat, eggs, dairy and traces of nuts (our bakery is not a nut-free facility). For severe nut, gluten or dairy allergies, do not add these to your order. Email hello@fabulousflowers.co.za if you want to discuss alternatives for an event with mixed dietary requirements.

How long do they stay fresh?

Best enjoyed the day they arrive. Stored sealed at cool room temperature, the cupcakes hold for up to 24 hours. For events spread across two days, refrigerate the unopened boxes and bring each one back to room temperature about thirty minutes before serving so the buttercream is at its softest. The texture is at its peak in the first 24 hours.

What if I do not need a full dozen?

The cupcake range scales to the moment. The Single Vanilla Cupcake is the entry-tier solo gift. The Three Vanilla Cupcakes set covers personal moments and small family sharing. The Six Vanilla Cupcakes covers a small team or family birthday. The Twelve Vanilla Cupcakes is the event tier. All four use the same vanilla sponge, the same real rose, the same edible glitter and the same individual branded box format.

Fresh Flowers

Find a Vase: Your lovely blooms need a drink! Put them in your favourite vase with fresh water as soon as possible.

Trim Those Stems: Keep those stems fresh by cutting them at an angle. This allows more water up the stem. Checking and trimming the stems every few days will keep them sound.

Gently Strip Leaves: Remove any excess leaves, especially from the part of the stem that will be submerged. This helps to avoid rot and bacteria, which can shorten your flowers' life span.

Remove Old Blooms: Drooping flowers release ethylene gas, which may accelerate the aging of other flowers. Strip off any dead or dying flowers to keep the rest of the bouquet looking bright and fresh.

Keep Them Cool: Place your flowers away from heat sources such as heaters, televisions, or ovens to retain the beauty of your flowers.

Clean Water: Always place your flowers in clean water. Refresh your vase with water daily or at least every second day.

Storage Tips: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to keep contents in perfect condition.

Handling with Care: Handle this box gently so as not to damage the delicate items inside.

Plants

Watering: Ensure your plants are hydrated but avoid overwatering. Check the soil's moisture regularly and water it when the top inch feels dry.

Light: Place your plants in a spot where they receive the appropriate amount of light. Some prefer bright, indirect light, while others thrive in low-light conditions.

Feeding: Feed your plants with a balanced fertiliser every few weeks during the growing season to keep them healthy and vibrant.

Pruning: Regularly remove dead leaves and trim back overgrown branches to encourage new growth and maintain the plant's shape.

Humidity: Some plants thrive in high humidity. If needed, mist your plants occasionally or place a humidifier nearby to create a favourable environment.

Artificial Flowers and Plants

Dusting: Your artificial flowers and botanicals should be lightly dusted regularly with a soft cloth or feather duster.

Light Washing: For deeper cleaning, please use a cloth lightly dampened with water and a small amount of mild detergent. Gently wipe the leaves and petals.

Avoid Direct: Sunlight Do not place under direct sunlight in order to prevent colours from fading.

Fluff and Arrange: Just fluff up petals and leaves to remain fluffy. Set them in position as desired to look natural.
