This is the part most gift sites leave vague, so here it is plainly. Nothing is held in a regional warehouse. Every hamper is built to order in Cape Town, checked, boxed and handed to a courier, and that transit is two to four working days to any South African address.

So a courier gift is a planning purchase. Order three to five working days before the date and it lands comfortably in time. We cannot do a same-day hamper outside Cape Town, and we would rather tell you now than take the order and let you down on the day.

If the date has already arrived, fresh flowers are the answer instead. We run same-day flower delivery in Cape Town and Johannesburg from our own studios when you order before 12pm.

The lead time above answers the first. On the second, every box is packed by a person and checked before it is sealed, and if it arrives wrong you phone us and we make it right.

Every gift carries a free handwritten card, written out by the person packing it rather than printed. Add your message at checkout, and tell us if you would rather the sender line was left off.

If you are not sure what to pick, the useful question is where it is going rather than what the occasion is. A box going to an office wants something shareable and shelf-stable. A box going to a home can be richer and more personal. A box going to someone in hospital or convalescing is usually better without alcohol, and better small enough to sit on a bedside table.
