How To Add the Cupcakes To Your Order

The Six Vanilla Cupcakes set is an add-on only. It does not ship on its own. Add it to any of our birthday flower bouquets, just because sends, Mother's Day flowers, or any of our gift hampers, and we will tuck the six boxes alongside the gift. The Three Vanilla Cupcakes set covered the personal gifts. Customers kept asking for the next tier up. The dozen would have been the easy answer, but a dozen cupcakes felt closer to a cake order than an add-on. So we landed at six. Half a dozen, each in its own branded box, generous enough for a family Sunday morning, an office birthday or a thoughtful send that lands like a proper celebration. The per-cupcake value is the same as the Three Vanilla Cupcakes. You are paying for one more handful of cupcakes, not a tier change.

Three is for sharing with one person. Six is for sharing with everyone, with one quietly kept back for yourself.

Delivery: Cape Town Same-Day Only

The Six Vanilla Cupcakes are freshly baked and perishable, so they deliver in Cape Town only, same-day on orders placed before 12pm Monday to Saturday. We deliver across Claremont, Sea Point, Camps Bay, Constantia, Newlands, Rondebosch, Green Point, the City Bowl, Southern Suburbs and the wider Cape Town network. As fresh bakery items they do NOT ship by nationwide courier and are NOT available for Johannesburg same-day delivery, even though our flowers are. If you are sending flowers to Johannesburg or another province, the cupcake add-on is not available on those orders.

How To Enjoy Them

Enjoy the cupcakes the day they arrive for best taste and freshness. The real rose on each one is decorative only and should be removed before eating. The edible glitter is food-safe and tastes of nothing. Store sealed at cool room temperature, away from direct sunlight, and consume within 24 hours of delivery. If your recipient is rationing them across the week, refrigerate the unopened boxes and bring each one back to room temperature before serving. Each cupcake stays freshest in its own sealed box.

Can I order the Six Vanilla Cupcakes on their own?

No. The Six Vanilla Cupcakes are an add-on only. They must be added to a flower bouquet, gift hamper, vase arrangement or other gift order in your cart. We do not deliver cupcakes as standalone items. If you want a cupcake-led gift, the Cupcake Bloom Box is our standalone cupcakes-with-flowers product.

Are the six cupcakes in one box or six separate boxes?

Six separate boxes. Each cupcake is packed in its own Fabulous Flowers branded box with our gold crown emblem. This is the format our customers asked for, because it lets the recipient split them between people, hand them out at the office, or save them across the week without unboxing fuss.

What flavour are they?

Where do you deliver these cupcakes?

Are the roses on top safe to eat?

The roses are decorative only. Each one is a fresh rose from our florist team, placed on the buttercream for the photogenic finish. Remove the rose before eating the cupcake. The edible glitter is food-safe and can be eaten.

What allergies should I be aware of?

The cupcakes contain wheat, eggs, dairy and traces of nuts (our bakery is not a nut-free facility). For severe nut, gluten or dairy allergies, do not add these to your order. Email hello@fabulousflowers.co.za if you want to discuss alternatives.

How long do they stay fresh?

Best enjoyed the day they arrive. Stored sealed at cool room temperature, the cupcakes hold for up to 24 hours. If your recipient is splitting them across the week, refrigerate the unopened boxes and bring each one back to room temperature before serving. The texture is softest in the first 24 hours.

Can I order this for a future date?

Yes. Select your preferred delivery date at checkout on the main gift you are adding them to. The cupcakes are freshly baked the morning of dispatch, so they always arrive fresh on the chosen day. For birthdays, Mother's Day, Valentine's and corporate batch orders, book at least a day or two ahead.

What is the difference between the three-pack and the six-pack?

The Three Vanilla Cupcakes is for personal moments and family of three to four. The Six Vanilla Cupcakes is the half dozen tier, built for milestone birthdays, family gatherings, office celebrations and corporate sends. Same vanilla cupcake. Same real rose. Same edible glitter. Fresh Flowers

Find a Vase: Your lovely blooms need a drink! Put them in your favourite vase with fresh water as soon as possible.

Trim Those Stems: Keep those stems fresh by cutting them at an angle. This allows more water up the stem. Checking and trimming the stems every few days will keep them sound.

Gently Strip Leaves: Remove any excess leaves, especially from the part of the stem that will be submerged. This helps to avoid rot and bacteria, which can shorten your flowers' life span.

Remove Old Blooms: Drooping flowers release ethylene gas, which may accelerate the aging of other flowers. Strip off any dead or dying flowers to keep the rest of the bouquet looking bright and fresh.

Keep Them Cool: Place your flowers away from heat sources such as heaters, televisions, or ovens to retain the beauty of your flowers.

Clean Water: Always place your flowers in clean water. Refresh your vase with water daily or at least every second day.

Storage Tips: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to keep contents in perfect condition.

Handling with Care: Handle this box gently so as not to damage the delicate items inside.

Plants

Watering: Ensure your plants are hydrated but avoid overwatering. Check the soil's moisture regularly and water it when the top inch feels dry.

Light: Place your plants in a spot where they receive the appropriate amount of light. Some prefer bright, indirect light, while others thrive in low-light conditions.

Feeding: Feed your plants with a balanced fertiliser every few weeks during the growing season to keep them healthy and vibrant.

Pruning: Regularly remove dead leaves and trim back overgrown branches to encourage new growth and maintain the plant's shape.

Humidity: Some plants thrive in high humidity. If needed, mist your plants occasionally or place a humidifier nearby to create a favourable environment.

Artificial Flowers and Plants

Dusting: Your artificial flowers and botanicals should be lightly dusted regularly with a soft cloth or feather duster.

Light Washing: For deeper cleaning, please use a cloth lightly dampened with water and a small amount of mild detergent. Gently wipe the leaves and petals.

Avoid Direct: Sunlight Do not place under direct sunlight in order to prevent colours from fading.

Fluff and Arrange: Just fluff up petals and leaves to remain fluffy. Set them in position as desired to look natural.
