Coral, Orange, Blue and Purple

This is a colour clash on purpose. The coral peonies and orange roses give you warmth, and the blue delphinium and purple stocks cut straight through it, so nothing fades into the background. It works on a kitchen table, a desk or an office reception, anywhere a bouquet has to hold its own. How to Care for Your Bouquet

The peonies may arrive partly closed so they last longer, and they open over the next few days. Trim all the stems at an angle every two days, change the water often and take off any leaves below the waterline. Keep the vase out of direct sun and away from ripening fruit. Find a Vase: Your lovely blooms need a drink! Put them in your favourite vase with fresh water as soon as possible.

Trim Those Stems: Keep those stems fresh by cutting them at an angle. This allows more water up the stem. Checking and trimming the stems every few days will keep them sound.

Gently Strip Leaves: Remove any excess leaves, especially from the part of the stem that will be submerged. This helps to avoid rot and bacteria, which can shorten your flowers life span.

Remove Old Blooms: Drooping flowers release ethylene gas, which may accelerate the aging of other flowers. Strip off any dead or dying flowers to keep the rest of the bouquet looking bright and fresh.

Keep Them Cool: Place your flowers away from heat sources such as heaters, televisions, or ovens to retain the beauty of your flowers.

Clean Water: Always place your flowers in clean water. Refresh your vase with water daily or at least every second day.
