White Phalaenopsis 70cm 3-Spike

This white Phalaenopsis orchid is the kind of gift that stops someone mid-sentence. Imported direct from Amsterdam in a strictly limited consignment, it stands 70cm tall on three flowering spikes loaded with pristine white blooms, each petal soft as silk with a gentle yellow-green blush at the centre.

Wrapped in charcoal-grey and black paper with a blush-pink trim, it arrives looking every bit as polished as the occasion it is meant for. Whether it is a birthday, a new home, a thank-you, or simply a moment where words are not quite enough, this orchid plant says it with quiet elegance.

And unlike a cut bouquet, a Phalaenopsis orchid keeps blooming. Expect six to eight weeks of flowers from this plant, and with the right care, it will reward you with fresh spikes season after season.

How to Care for Your Phalaenopsis Orchid

Place in bright, indirect light away from direct sun and cold draughts. Water once a week by soaking the roots for 10 minutes, then drain completely. Never let the roots sit in standing water. Feed monthly with orchid fertiliser during spring and summer. When the last bloom drops, cut the spike just above a visible node to encourage a second flush of flowers.

Why Choose This Orchid

This is not a standard nursery orchid. Each plant has been hand-selected from specialist growers in the Netherlands and air-freighted to Cape Town. The three-spike variety produces a fuller, more dramatic display than single or double-spike plants, and the white blooms carry that timeless sophistication that works in any setting.

Fabulous Flowers has been Cape Town's trusted florist since 1999. Every orchid plant delivery is inspected, wrapped, and handled with the same care we give our hand-tied bouquets. When you want an orchid gift that genuinely impresses, this is the one to send.

FAQ

How long does a white Phalaenopsis orchid last?

With proper care, the blooms on a white Phalaenopsis orchid last six to eight weeks. Once the flowers drop, cut the spike above a node and keep the plant in bright, indirect light. Most plants will produce a new spike within a few months.

Where can this orchid be delivered?

This orchid is available for same-day delivery in Cape Town only. Place your order before 12pm and it will arrive the same day, carefully handled to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition.

What is the best position for a Phalaenopsis orchid indoors?

A bright spot with indirect light is ideal. Near a window with a sheer curtain works well. Avoid placing it in direct afternoon sun or near air conditioning vents, as both can damage the blooms and leaves.

Is a white orchid plant a good corporate gift?

A white Phalaenopsis orchid is one of the most popular corporate gifts we deliver. The classic white blooms suit any office or reception area, the presentation is polished and professional, and the plant lasts for weeks rather than days.
