How To Care For the Flowers and Eat the Cupcakes

The box arrives with the flowers freshly arranged in the display box and the cupcakes sealed alongside. Lift the cupcakes out first and store them in a sealed container at cool room temperature — best enjoyed within 24 hours, edible for 48. The flowers can stay in the display box or be transferred to a vase with fresh water; trim 1cm off each stem at a 45 degree angle, top up the water every two days, and keep away from sun, radiators and ripening fruit. The floral side will hold for 5 to 7 days with care. Pair the cupcakes with a hot cup of rooibos, English Breakfast tea, an espresso for the chocolate cupcakes, or a small glass of Cap Classique for the vanilla.

Trim Those Stems: Keep those stems fresh by cutting them at an angle. Checking and trimming the stems every few days will keep them sound.

Keep Them Cool: Place your flowers away from heat sources such as heaters, televisions, or ovens.

Clean Water: Refresh your vase with water daily or at least every second day.

Watering: Ensure your plants are hydrated but avoid overwatering. Check the soil moisture regularly and water it when the top inch feels dry.
