How To Look After Each Item

The Krone Sparkling Wine should be chilled to 6 to 8°C before opening and finished within two to three days of opening if possible. The Lindt white chocolate truffles are best stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and consumed within their best-before date. The Grapefruit and Lime body butter holds its quality for 12 months from opening when stored in the original jar with the lid closed. The Fig and Pear bath crystals and bath bombs stay fresh in a sealed container away from humidity. The soy candle burns cleaner than paraffin, but as with any candle, never leave it unattended, keep it on a stable heat-resistant surface, and away from curtains or anything flammable. Trim the wick to roughly 5mm before each burn.

Yes, the hamper contains a 750ml bottle of Krone Sparkling Wine. By South African law, alcohol cannot be sold or delivered to anyone under 18. The recipient must be 18 or older to accept the delivery, and the courier may ask for ID on arrival. Is this hamper suitable for sensitive skin?

The body butter, bath crystals and bath bombs are all skin-contact products. Most people use them without issue, but if the recipient has known allergies or very sensitive skin, we recommend patch-testing a small area of skin first before wider use. Find a Vase: Your lovely blooms need a drink! Put them in your favourite vase with fresh water as soon as possible.

Trim Those Stems: Keep those stems fresh by cutting them at an angle. This allows more water up the stem. Checking and trimming the stems every few days will keep them sound.

Gently Strip Leaves: Remove any excess leaves, especially from the part of the stem that will be submerged. This helps to avoid rot and bacteria, which can shorten your flowers' life span.

Remove Old Blooms: Drooping flowers release ethylene gas, which may accelerate the aging of other flowers. Strip off any dead or dying flowers to keep the rest of the bouquet looking bright and fresh.

Keep Them Cool: Place your flowers away from heat sources such as heaters, televisions, or ovens to retain the beauty of your flowers.

Clean Water: Always place your flowers in clean water. Refresh your vase with water daily or at least every second day.
