Three formats sit here and they are not the same thing. Protea-led bouquets and arrangements put proteas front and centre. Fynbos designs mix proteas with other Cape plants from the same vegetation, so the protea shares the design rather than dominating it. Caring for cut proteas
Recut the stems at an angle before they go in the vase. Use a clean vase, cool water and flower food mixed as directed. Keep all foliage above the waterline, change the water every few days, and keep the vase cool, out of direct sunlight and away from heat.
