Sunninghill Flower and Gift Delivery

Flower and Gift Delivery in Sunninghill

Sunninghill has two anchors and most of our work goes to one of them: the wards at Netcare Sunninghill Hospital, and the office parks running along Maxwell Drive, Edison Crescent and Witkoppen Road. Sunninghill Gardens sits quieter to the side. We deliver to all of it, six days a week, as a family florist since 1999. Order before 12pm, Monday to Saturday, for same-day flower delivery, or call +27 21 674 7206.

Your Sunninghill Florist Since 1999

Search for a florist in Sunninghill and much of what comes back is a national order-gatherer that takes the order and passes it to whichever shop is cheapest that morning. We are not that. Fresh flowers for Sunninghill are arranged by our own florists in our Johannesburg studio in South Kensington, on the morning they travel, and if something is not right you phone us and speak to the person who made it.

Same-Day Sunninghill Flower Delivery Before 12pm

Sunninghill flower delivery runs Monday to Saturday on orders placed before 12pm. After that it goes out the next working day, and you can set any future date at checkout if you are sending ahead for a birthday or an anniversary.

Delivery is calculated at checkout once you enter the Sunninghill address. If you are not sure what to send, our hand-tied bouquets are where most Sunninghill orders start.

Sunninghill Gift Hampers and Gift Boxes

Gifts run on a different timetable to flowers, and it is better said now than at checkout. Our gift hampers and gift boxes are hand-packed at our Claremont headquarters in Cape Town and couriered to Sunninghill in two to four working days, tracked the whole way.

That makes a hamper a planning purchase rather than a same-day one. If it has to arrive today, send flowers from the Johannesburg studio instead. A hamper is also the right call for a ward that will not take fresh stems.

Flowers to Netcare Sunninghill Hospital

A large share of our Sunninghill deliveries go to a ward rather than a home, and wards run on their own rules. Give us the ward name or number, the patient's full name as it appears on the admission, and a mobile number for a family member.

Some wards do not accept fresh flowers at all, intensive care among them. If that is the case we will tell you before you order and send a gift that is allowed instead. See hospital flower and gift delivery for arrangements built to sit on a narrow bedside table. If the patient is discharged before we arrive, we phone you and redirect to a home address the same day.

Sunninghill Access and Delivery Notes

For the office parks, give us the company name, the building and a mobile number for the recipient. Reception desks sign for deliveries and then tell nobody, which is the most common way an office delivery goes wrong.

For the homes and complexes through Sunninghill Gardens, add the complex name, the unit number and the gate code if there is one.

If nobody is home we leave the order with a gatehouse, reception or security and message the recipient to say exactly where it is. We do not leave an arrangement standing in the Highveld sun, because an afternoon of it undoes a morning of work.

Corporate Flowers and Standing Orders

We hold standing weekly and fortnightly flower orders for offices across Johannesburg, invoiced monthly rather than order by order, with a brief kept on file so it does not need re-explaining each week.

For a corporate hamper run to several Sunninghill addresses, the courier lead time applies to every box, so give us the week rather than the day.

Delivering Around Sunninghill

Sunninghill sits near Sandton and Fourways. For anywhere else see flower delivery across Johannesburg or our nationwide gift delivery range.

To get the longest life out of an arrangement once it arrives, our flower care guide covers conditioning, water changes and the mistakes that cost a bouquet three days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you deliver flowers to Sunninghill on the same day?

Yes. Order before 12pm, Monday to Saturday, and fresh flowers are arranged in our Johannesburg studio that morning and delivered the same day to eligible Sunninghill addresses.

Can you deliver flowers to Netcare Sunninghill Hospital?

Yes. Give us the ward name or number, the patient's full name as it appears on the admission, and a mobile number for a family member. We work to the ward's visiting hours rather than our own run.

What if the ward does not allow fresh flowers?

Some wards, including intensive care, do not accept them. We will tell you before you order and suggest a gift instead, which most wards will take.

Can I get a gift hamper delivered to Sunninghill today?

No. Hampers and gift boxes are hand-packed at our Claremont headquarters and couriered in two to four working days. For something that must arrive today, send flowers instead.

Can you deliver to an office park on Maxwell Drive?

Yes. Add the company name, the building and a mobile number for the recipient so it does not sit unannounced at a reception desk.

Is there a Fabulous Flowers shop in Sunninghill?

No. Sunninghill is a delivery area, served from our Johannesburg studio for flowers and our Claremont headquarters for gifts. Our walk-in store is at Cavendish Square in Cape Town.

How much is delivery to Sunninghill?

It is calculated at checkout once you enter the address. Flower delivery and courier gift delivery are priced separately because they travel differently.

Do you deliver to Sunninghill on a Sunday?

Our delivery days are Monday to Saturday. For a Sunday occasion, order flowers for Saturday delivery.
