Caring for Your Lilies

A little care goes a long way. Trim the stems at an angle, keep them in a clean vase with cool water, and stand them out of direct sun. Gently remove the pollen tips once the blooms open to protect clothes and surfaces, and refresh the water every couple of days. Done well, lilies last seven to twelve days, opening bud by bud.
