How to water an orchid: About every 7–10 days. Take the plant to a sink and water thoroughly until it runs through the drainage, then let it drain completely. No standing water—Phalaenopsis prefer to dry slightly between drinks.

Feeding: During active growth, use a balanced orchid fertiliser at ¼ strength every 2–3 weeks.

Trim Those Stems: Keep those stems fresh by cutting them at an angle. Checking and trimming the stems every few days will keep them sound.

Keep Them Cool: Place your flowers away from heat sources such as heaters, televisions, or ovens.

Clean Water: Refresh your vase with water daily or at least every second day.

Plants

Watering: Ensure your plants are hydrated but avoid overwatering. Check the soil moisture regularly and water it when the top inch feels dry.
